Hotel Magic Pas, Pas de la Casa, Grandvalira

This hotel is in the heart of Pas de la Casa, part of the extensive Grandvalira ski area which covers an enormous 210km of piste and is comfortably the biggest ski resort in the Pyrenees. As with much of Pas de la Casa, the building from the outside isn't much to look at, but once you go through the front door you'll find a warm and welcoming hotel, which is a perfect base for a great ski holiday.

The ski slopes are a little over 100m walk meaning easy access to the pistes and a very limited distance to carry ski equipment. The ski hire we use is actually on the edge of the piste and for a small charge you can also store your skis there to save carrying them at all.

The hotel has a large and comfortable bar with open fire place and pool table as well as a great range of drinks includng cocktails. The restaurant is quiet and comfortable offering meals in a buffet style with plenty of choice and plentiful quantities.

Although 'Pas' is known as a place for high energy evenings and nightlife, this quiet hotel means you can kick back and relax, unaware of those enjoying the bars and nightclubs further afield.

All in all it's a highly recommended place to stay this winter.
