The Hotel Lion Noir is in a perfect position, probably the best of all the hotels up in Pila, just opposite the main gondola station and next to the Chamole piste. Assuming the snow conditions are favourable, this is a true ski in/out hotel.

The rooms are modern and tastefully decorated and the hotel has a very impressive bar area which looks down into the Valley with views that stretch as far as the eye can see. There are few better places to enjoy an early evening aperitivi. There's also an indoor swimming pool for the more active which is also great for keeping the kids entertained. There's also a gym and sauna.
