Ski resorts nowadays are well equipped with plenty of great childcare options for you and your family so that everyone can have fun in the snow. One thing we all know to be true is that if the kids are happy, you're happy!
Every family is different and so it's important that the ski resort you choose offers the childcare options that will suit you and your family. We're pleased to be able to offer a great choice which includes nursery, indoor and outdoor fun and games as well as ski tuition.

When it comes to childcare to complement your ski holiday, look no further than Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal! The little country of Andorra really does have some great childcare options for kids of all ages. The options include:
Nursery
For children aged 2-5, the Nursery is the perfect option for kids who aren't yet ready to take to the slopes. A warm and comfortable environment with fully trained staff awaits your little ones. Sessions can be booked in either half-day or full-day slots and lunch can be added as well, giving you the option to drop off in the morning and pick up again at the end of the day.
Snow Garden
Grandvalira's Snow Gardens are gently sloped parts of the piste that have been carefully chosen and separated from the main ski areas to give younger kids a quiet and private area to learn to ski without the fear of older kids and adults racing through. Each Snow Garden has a magic carpet as well to get young skiers back to the top of the slope again, so there's no worrying about drag lifts or char lifts. Snow Garden sessions run for 3hrs in the mornings but can be extended to a full-day where the afternoon is spent doing fun games and activities. The Snow Garden packages are for children aged 3-6.
Kids' Programme
This is a fantastic package for kids from the age of 3-11 (groups are divided into 3-5 and 6-11) that combines ski tuition, supervised lunch and afternoons of indoor and outdoor activities that can include things such as igloo building, snow-shoeing, skidoos and zip lines! The Kids' Programme is available for full-day sessions only and allows you drop the kids off in the morning and then pick them up at the end of the day.
Group Lessons
If your little one perhaps aren't that little any more, or maybe they're just a bit more adventurous, then the Junior Group Lessons might be better suited. Lessons run for 3hrs each day and must be booked as a minimum of three consecutive days. This is suitable for children aged 6-11.

Courmayeur has two great options for children up to the age of 10, including infants. Both options have great facilities and provide a welcoming, friendly and safe environment. The Lo Tata Playroom is located inside the Sports Centre near to the Dolonne ski lift whereas the Miniclub Bianca Neve is on the slopes at Plan Checrouit, at the top of the lifts that operate from the town. Regardless of your choice, both of these centres are very conveniently positioned.
Options are available to book by the hour, half days and full days. Lunch can also be included.

There are childcare options available in La Thuile for guests staying at either the Hotel Planibel or Residence Planibel (unfortunately, there aren't any options available in La Thuile for guests staying in other hotels). The Baby Club at TH Land caters for little ones aged between 3 and 5, the Mini Club looks after 5-11 year olds and the Junior Club is for those aged 11-17. Regardless of your child's age you can be assured they're in safe hands with fun activities all suitable for each group. The staff can even arrange to take children to and collect them from the slopes if they are having ski lessons. Lunch can also be included for an additional charge.

In Pila, we can offer the Kinderheim Miniclub, run by the Pila Ski School and positioned right next to the TH Pila Hotel. The creche takes babies from 9 months old and the mini club takes children up to the age of 10. Depending on the packages chosen, the building provides a warm and safe environment for your little ones which includes entertainment, crafts, fun and games. Ski tuition can also be included.
There is no shortage of choice available, including packages that are charged by the hour to full week options. Lunch can also be included.
Please note, the location of the childcare facilities may require a walk from the first station of the Pila gondola, opposite the Yeti bar, depending on where you are staying.
